Obituary of Carrie "Carol" Cox
Carrie D. “Carol” Cox, 93 of Ruskin, Fla passed away, October 5, 2018. She was a charter member of the Ruskin B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge, a member of the Women of the Moose, served as secretary of the Ruskin Chamber of Commerce and a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Peter Maruca and Robert Cox and by her son, James Maruca. Survivors include her daughter, Paula (Charles) Sabo, two granddaughters, Kristen (Todd Reynolds) Tanner and Tracy (Jason) Dain, a great granddaughter, Amber (Brent) Poznecki, and a great grandson, Jordan Dain, a great great granddaughter, Kynlee Poznecki, and by her sister, Lilly Avaline Dye. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 5309 U.S. Hwy 41 North, Apollo Beach, Fla. Private burial in Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Calvary Lutheran Church Building Fund or the Calvary Lutheran Church Community Cupboard Food Pantry, 5309 U.S. Hwy 41 North, Apollo Beach, Fla.33572
