Obituary of Ann Marie Kirker

Ann Marie Woznicki Kirker passed away on April 17,2024. She was born on May 21, 1944 and was the beloved daughter of the late Valentine and Helen Woznicki. The oldest of four children, she graduated from St Benedict Academy in Erie,Pa. Ann Marie then happily worked as a flight attendant for Allegheny/ US Air for thirty-eight years. She took a four month leave to volunteer with the Tom Dooley Foundation in Kathmandu, Nepal. She volunteered at many organizations and was a Eucharistic Minister for Prince of Peace Church, where she donated many hand crocheted afghans. Ann Marie loved photography, boating, skiing, cooking and travelling the world. She is survived by her sister Alice (Benjamin) Perillo, her brother Richard (Barbara) Woznicki, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Lay, her second husband, Gerald Kirker, and her sister Kathleen (Daniel) Bernik. A funeral Mass at Prince of Peace Church will be held on June 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM followed by a celebration. A private burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery.
